OrdNexus Privacy Policy

OrdNexus is a browser extension designed to enable direct, on-chain data access for Bitcoin and Ordinals. It allows developers to fetch publicly available blockchain data without relying on centralized APIs or remote servers.

Data Collection and Usage

OrdNexus does not collect, store, or share any personally identifiable information. All data fetched or processed by the extension is publicly available blockchain data obtained directly from Bitcoin endpoints (such as mempool.space and ordinals.com).

• No personal information is collected or transmitted.
• No cookies or analytics services are used.
• No web history, activity, or location data is accessed.
• All operations occur locally within the user’s browser.

Permissions and Access

OrdNexus requests minimal permissions required for its single purpose:

• storage — to temporarily cache fetched data locally to improve performance.
• activeTab — to allow developers to call the OrdNexus API directly from their browser console.
• Host permissions — limited to public blockchain endpoints such as mempool.space and ordinals.com.

Remote Code

OrdNexus does not use any remote or externally loaded code. All JavaScript and logic are packaged locally within the extension bundle. No dynamic code execution via eval() or remote module imports occur.

User Data

OrdNexus operates purely as a data bridge between on-chain information sources and browser-based applications. It does not store, analyze, or transmit any form of user data or identifiers. The extension does not interact with private wallet keys, credentials, or accounts.

Developer Commitment

The OrdNexus development team certifies that:

• No user data is sold or shared with third parties.
• All extension operations are limited to its single purpose: on-chain data access.
• OrdNexus does not and will not use data for creditworthiness, lending, or advertising purposes.
